2nd Year Maintenance and Beyond

We will contact the homeowner within one1 year from initial maintenance/restoration services. This provides:

  • Complete inspection and onsite analysis with homeowner.
  • Stain and chink touchups as needed.
  • Light wash and clear coat.
  • List of additional work items recommended with pricing. (this could include up-check maintenance, deck and rail re-staining, trim painting etc…)

The above maintenance should be scheduled every 3-5 yrs. from then on.

2nd year maintenance and beyond is recommended for:

  • All homes!
  • Homes newly built - (tendency for log movement)
  • Homeowners who have a good sense of completing their own yearly inspections and can perform some maintenance on their own.


Yearly Maintenance Service

The homeowner signs up with a yearly service contract good for 10 years. Each year the homeowner makes payment prior to the anniversary of the initial service and a date is scheduled. This provides:

  • Complete inspection and onsite analysis with homeowner.
  • Light wash and clearcoat.
  • Stain and chink touchups as needed.
  • List of other work items needed with pricing. - (this could include up-check maintenance, deck and rail re-staining, trim painting etc…)

Yearly service is recommended for:

  • Problem Homes or homes built incorrectly
  • 2nd homes or vacation rental cabins
  • Resorts
  • Homeowners who aren’t capable of maintaining the home themselves or aren’t present to do so.
